Nichols elegantly simple and taut prose becomes addictive.
Globe and Mail(Toronto)

A terrified three-year-old boy is found clinging to a wire fence at the
side of a country road. The only clue found by authorities as to the
childs identity is a photograph of two little girls and a letter.

Sixteen years later, Walker Devereaux is in Toronto to discover the truth
about his biological mother. Working as an after-hours cabdriver, Walker
befriends Krista, a smart-alecky, wheelchair-bound night dispatcher.
Together, they search for a key to Walkers past. But their after-hours
sleuthing veers them ever closer to another who has become the
embodiment of desperate, violent, and sinister pathologies.

James W. Nichol has been a prominent playwright in Canada since 1970. Midnight Cab, his first novel, was inspired by his immensely popular radio drama of the same name broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

Scott Brick, actor and narrator, has won eighteen Earphones Awards, as well as the 2003 Audie Award in the category of best science fiction. He has recorded more than two hundred audiobooks in five years and earned AudioFile magazine's Golden Voice award in 2004.

Have you always loved reading but sometimes find it hard to find the time? Theres nothing quite like curling up with a good book but many of us cannot do that as much as we would llike. We sacrifice this special time because we have so many other things to do each day. It is a common problem and it is the reason why people on average are not reading as much as they once did. Audio books bring the story to life just as the storytellers of the past did. They allow you to experience the book in a whole new way; in the way the writer felt and heard it in their head. You can feel the emotion when you allow audio books to let the story come to life.
